To those who repeatedly say “I am so sorry.” Don’t be. I am lucky. Not for what has happened. I am lucky because I have had such an amazing role model, best friend, mentor, and mother. She has shaped me into the person I am today. She has taught me cursive, algebra, how to get things done and to never give up. She has shown me how to be a strong person. She has shown me that I am going to be successful and happy. She spent long hours with me when I was sick. She single handily is responsible for my good health, high school graduation, and college career. She has fixed everything in my life, from broken hearts, paper cuts, to stomach aches. She is my super hero, and I am lucky to call her my mother. Thank you for everything. I love you so much mom. Get better soon. I still need my best friend. I still need my super hero. I still have more broken hearts and paper cuts that I am going to need you around for. Please get better.
